Hamilton Laboratory Solutions brand is formerly knowned as Fisher Hamilton or Thermo Scientific Hamilton or Hamilton Scientific.
Hamilton’s line of laboratory fume hoods meet a full range of laboratory needs from bench-type to floor mounted styles. The hoods are offered in constant volume/bypass and restricted bypass.
In their design, Hamilton hoods have undergone both quantitative and qualitative testing in the company’s dedicated fume hood test lab, using the ASHRAE 110- 1995 test procedure. This test has been adopted by the fume hood industry as well as by the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) as a measure of fume hood containment performance. The performance of each model of fume hood is documented, based on ASHRAE test data; the lab and ASHRAE testing capabilities are available as a resource for customers.
Hamilton fume hoods feature an air-foil design, which reduces turbulence at the face of the hood, improving containment within the fume hood. The hoods come with an unframed sash for enhanced visibility, a sash stop at 18 inches on vertical sashes for safety, and a maximum three-position baffle with remote adjustment.
Liner materials have low flame ratings and meet NFPA-45 standards. Steel components are finished with Hamilton’s chemical-resistant powder coating.
In addition to fume hoods, there is a selection of tops, cup sinks, fume hood fixtures, blowers, and various accessories such as alarms, lights, and switches.
